Pata is a small village of 438 hectares in Bidhuna Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pata depends on phaph, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Pata's pin code is 206241[4], and village code is 04123300. The area of Pata is segregated as 192 hectares irrigated area, 177 hectares unirrigated area.

Pata has One post office (Pata R.S. B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Pata has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Pata is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4098 and has total administration over 763 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of phaph and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
