Palra is a small village of 75 hectares in Baraut Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Palra depends on Doghat (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Palra's pin code is 250622[4], and village code is 01048100. The area of Palra is segregated as 0.8 hectares irrigated area, 0.4 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 0.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Palra is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3563 and has total administration over 493 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Doghat (NP) and Bagpat to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
