Pachma is a small village of 114.5 hectares in Belthara Road Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pachma depends on Lohta (CT), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pachma's pin code is 221716[4], and village code is 09084500. The area of Pachma is segregated as 82.723 hectares irrigated area, 25.277 hectares unirrigated area. the 8.768 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pachma has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lohta (CT) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
