Dr. Obom Bowen (born 12 December 1976) is an American award-winning High Performance and Mindset Transformation Thought Provoker. He is a well-known Master Career Strategist and a seasoned entrepreneur who has a consummate understanding of human behavior, personal growth, psychology, and philosophy. Bowen currently serves as the CEO of a world renowned training company and is well recognized for devising methods for assisting people in overcoming psychological barriers. He uses his "Today Is The Day" Methodology to assist entrepreneurs in bringing their best work to the world.[1][2]

Bowen throughout his career of over 15 years has helped numerous individuals achieve business and life success. He is also a Network Marketing expert and has collaborated with global Fortune 500 companies, including Chevron, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Intel, and many others in development to their success.[3]

Bowen has appeared on Fox News, KUSN, and SIGN-ON San Diego, as well as Top Coastal News and the Union-Tribune, and has spoken and taught as a Facilitator for NVTSI, Reboot, and a number of colleges and universities, including UCLA, UCSD, and Central Texas College.[4]

Early life and education

Bowen was born on 12 December 1976 in Guyana South America. He immigrated to the United States at age of 13. After graduating from high school in Guyana, Bowen re-attend high school in the U.S. and graduated again at the age of 16. He enlisted in the Marines at the age of 17 and also began studying Human Behavior. He later acquired an MD, MBA, Ph.D. (Human Behavior & Psychology), and Doctorates in Divinity.

Career

Bowen started his career in 1995 when he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for twenty years. He joined as an Infantry Assaultman and rose in ranks assuming the roles of Assault Section Leader, Detachment Commander, and Infantry Unit Leader.[5]

Since 1999, Bowen has been running Global FairyTale through which he offers strategic consulting for personal development, life coaching, relationship coaching, team building, and development.[6]

In 2011, Bowen became a brand partner for Nerium International. Two years later he created a Society for Young Entrepreneurs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young adults in their late teens to mid-20s take hold of their future. In 2014, Bowen founded Today Is The Day Methodology and began implementing it in his coaching programs.

In 2017, Bowen founded Unleash Your Greatness Conferences, a 2-day experience curated for creators, innovators, and visionaries. In 2021, he became the CEO of Underdog Millionaire.

Personal life

Bowen married his wife at the age of 19 and had his first child at the age of 21.

He remarried his current wife Ana in 2012.
