Nelson James Kwaje is a South Sudanese Tech and digital rights advocate.
Career/Work
Nelson is the co-founder of Impact Capital Initiative, an East African-based company that works on creating impact through local-led and innovative solutions.[1]
Nelson Kwaje chairs the board of #defyhatenow South Sudan, an organization that works on creating a lasting peace by combating hate speech and incitement to violence.[2][3]
Nelson has also been involved with several initiatives involved in the development of the internet and rights of citizens in Africa such as the Network of African Youth for Development, Internet, Society, ICANN, KICTANet and Africa CMS Summit.[4]

Nelson was voted among the most influential 100 young Africans in 2020[5]
