Nawada is a small village of 121.6 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nawada depends on Belthara Road , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nawada's pin code is 221712[4], and village code is 09095800. The area of Nawada is segregated as 90.545 hectares irrigated area, 20.116 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 4.944 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nawada has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Belthara Road and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
