Nangal Sohan is a small village of 325 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nangal Sohan depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 34.80% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nangal Sohan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nangal Sohan's pin code is 301413[4], and village code is 00913200. The area of Nangal Sohan is segregated as 109.95 hectares irrigated area, 100.1 hectares unirrigated, the 12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 102.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.
