Nagda is a small village of 189 hectares in Girwa Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagda depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Nagda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nagda's pin code is 313011[4], and village code is 03145500. The area of Nagda is segregated as 26 hectares irrigated area, 31 hectares unirrigated, the 23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 87 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell soap and make their living.
