Mowla Brothers, established in 1956, is a prominent book publisher in Bangladesh. It has published about two thousand books since then. As a part of the contribution to the publishing industry for a long time in Bangladesh, it has entertained readers with creative, thoughtful, and research-oriented books.

With almost seven-decade-old experiences in the publication sector, Mowla Brothers has been awarded many national and international prizes. Philips Shahitya Purashkar, Lekhak Shibir Purashkar, Alaol Shahitya Purashkar, Prothom Alo Borsho Shera Purashkar, Ajker Kagoj (Gamcon) Purashkar, Agrani Bank Shishu Shahitya Purashkar, Daud Purashkar, Shishu Academy Puraskar, Gyanpith Purashkar, Ananda Purashkar, Surama Purashkar, and Amiyobhushan Purashkar are few of them. Apart from these, Mowla Brothers has been awarded Munir Chowdhury Shahitya Purashkar, Chittaranjan Saha Puraskar for publishing the maximum number of books by Bangla Academy. It is also one of the winners of the Gourmand Awards 2012. Mowla Brothers' writer Shaheen_Akhta wins Asian Literary Award 2020

History

Khan Bahadur Ziaul Haq established this publishing house in order to enlighten and create knowledge and a science-based society. Its current proprietor Ahmed Mahmudul Haq] has the same vision.
