Mordi Khurd is a small village of 704 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mordi Khurd depends on Sambhar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mordi Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Mordi Khurd's pin code is 303604[4], and village code is 01507300. The area of Mordi Khurd is segregated as 79.87 hectares irrigated area, 555 hectares unirrigated, the 37.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.
