Moongus is a small village of 112 hectares in Naraini Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moongus depends on Banda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Moongus's pin code is 210129[4], and village code is 04835700. The area of Moongus is segregated as 101 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banda (MB) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
