Moon Chhupra is a small village of 60 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moon Chhupra depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Moon Chhupra's pin code is 277209[4], and village code is 09298600. The area of Moon Chhupra is segregated as 50 hectares irrigated area, 7 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
