Mawaeen is a small village of 139.6 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mawaeen depends on Atrauli (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mawaeen's pin code is 204212[4], and village code is 01367600. The area of Mawaeen is segregated as 123.85 hectares irrigated area, 1.4 hectares unirrigated area. the 124.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
