Marka is a small village of 750.2 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Marka depends on Baberu (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Marka's pin code is 210121[4], and village code is 04803400. The area of Marka is segregated as 38.4 hectares irrigated area, 447.2 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 78.88 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Marka has One post office (Simauni B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Marka has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baberu (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
