Malmalia is a small village of 290 hectares in Utraula Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malmalia depends on Utraula (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Malmalia's pin code is 271604[4], and village code is 06709300.
