Mallapur is a small village of 111.7 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mallapur depends on Gosainganj (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mallapur's pin code is 224210[4], and village code is 06125300. The area of Mallapur is segregated as 50 hectares irrigated area, 12 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
