Majhauwa Bujurg is a small village of 328.1 hectares in Bahraich Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Majhauwa Bujurg depends on Bahraich (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Majhauwa Bujurg's pin code is 271802[4], and village code is 06496300. The area of Majhauwa Bujurg is segregated as 148 hectares irrigated area, 143 hectares unirrigated area. the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
