Mahri is a small village of 189.5 hectares in Belthara Road Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahri depends on Belthara Road , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mahri's pin code is 221715[4], and village code is 09092300. The area of Mahri is segregated as 75 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mahri has One post office (Bilthra Road RS S.O). Mahri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.
