Mahrana is a small village of 171 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahrana depends on GOVINDGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mahrana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mahrana's pin code is 321607[4], and village code is 00927300. The area of Mahrana is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 104 hectares unirrigated, remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
