Maharampur is a small village of 217 hectares in Khekada Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maharampur depends on Khekada (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Maharampur's pin code is 250615[4], and village code is 01065600. The area of Maharampur is segregated as 187 hectares irrigated area. the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
