Luhara is a small village of 548 hectares in Khekada Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Luhara depends on Chhaprauli (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Luhara's pin code is 250617[4], and village code is 01040400. The area of Luhara is segregated as 493 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Luhara has One post office (Sherpur Luhari B.O). Luhara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chhaprauli (NP) and Bagpat to sell jaggery and make their living.
