Lotad is a small village of 255.3 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lotad depends on Sirsa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Lotad's pin code is 212302[4], and village code is 05623600. The area of Lotad is segregated as 201.97 hectares irrigated area, 2.24 hectares unirrigated area. remaining 0.46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lotad has One post office (Meja S.O). Lotad has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Lotad is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4265 and has total administration over 757 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirsa (NP) and Allahabad to sell furniture and make their living.
