Lisa Mary Remar (born October 7, 1996) a New York City native and [1] professionally known as Lisa Remar is a Japanese-American singer-songwriter and producer who sings in both Japanese and English. She is best known for her critically acclaimed debut EP Still Good [2](released January 15, 2021).
Her sonic sensibility draws, not only from her classical background, but also from her love for 90's hip hop as well as her affinity for artists such as Lana Del Rey[3], Fiona Apple, Rosalía (singer), Angèle (singer), Mariah Carey and many more.
Ladygunn described Lisa's songs as, "feathers floating from a pillow in slow motion as you sit on your bed with your lover and the sun is spilling through the window..."[4]. Her music has also received praise from Billboard (magazine),[5] Rolling Stone[6] and MTV [7]to name a few.
Lisa is the daughter of American Actor, James Remar and identifies as Bisexuality.[8]
