Lalai is a small village of 679.6 hectares in Bara Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalai depends on Shankargarh (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Lalai's pin code is 212107[4], and village code is 05502600. The area of Lalai is segregated as 130.75 hectares irrigated area, 291.99 hectares unirrigated area. remaining 163.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lalai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Lalai is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1870 and has total administration over 340 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
