L'Or Mbongo is a Gospel singer and a cantor living in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, born 6 July 1978.

She studied at N'Djili Lycee Sainte Germaine and received in 1997 a State Diploma in commercial and administrative section[1]. Then she attended University of Kinshasa|Kinshasa University but she had to give up because of her lack of money[1].

In the late 1990's, she sang in a group of her church. In 1999, she met Christian Lemba who moved her on the way to a professional career[1]. They get married in 2000 and in 2001, they founded together the band La Mano di dio[2]. This group made her known first in Democratic Republic of the Congo, then abroad.

In addition to her singer activity, L'Or Mbongo is involved in charity. She helps people in orphanages and is building a health center in Maluku, Kinshasa|Maluku[3]. On 4 April 2009, she was also named ambassador of the fight against mines[4].
