Kushkar is a small village of 921 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kushkar depends on Dariyabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. Kushkar is also near byOne lake. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dariyabad (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
