Kolwa is a small village of 385 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kolwa depends on ENHONA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kolwa's pin code is 225124[4], and village code is 05862500. The area of Kolwa is segregated as 208.995 hectares irrigated area, 12.525 hectares unirrigated area. the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 41.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kolwa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kolwa is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2479 and has total administration over 469 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ENHONA and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
