Kolpur is a small village of 101.4 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kolpur depends on Nizamabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kolpur's pin code is 276206[4], and village code is 08726200. The area of Kolpur is segregated as 52.2 hectares irrigated area, 34 hectares unirrigated area.
