Kohrar is a small village of 1061 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kohrar depends on MEJA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kohrar's pin code is 212303[4], and village code is 05621400. The area of Kohrar is segregated as 102.32 hectares irrigated area, 759.1 hectares unirrigated area. the 109.93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of MEJA and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
