Kodari is a small village of 170 hectares in Balrampur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kodari depends on Tulsipur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kodari's pin code is 271861[4], and village code is 06631200. The area of Kodari is segregated as 14.6 hectares irrigated area, 701.28 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 107.71 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tulsipur (NP) and Balrampur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
