Khatasarai is a small village of 772.9 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khatasarai depends on Rudauli (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Khatasarai's pin code is 225401[4], and village code is 05815200. The area of Khatasarai is segregated as 256 hectares irrigated area, 107.61 hectares unirrigated area. the 103.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 894.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Khatasarai is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 5544 and has total administration over 988 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
