Khaptiha is a small village of 250 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khaptiha depends on Shankargarh (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. The area of Khaptiha is segregated as 131 hectares irrigated area, 70 hectares unirrigated area. the 49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
