Khanpur is a small village of 162 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khanpur depends on Haidergarh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Khanpur's pin code is 225404[4], and village code is 05858800.

Khanpur has One post office (Pahroopur B.O). Khanpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
