Khairghat is a small village of 54 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khairghat depends on Jiyanpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khairghat's pin code is 276127[4], and village code is 08589100. The area of Khairghat is segregated as 35 hectares irrigated area, 8 hectares unirrigated area. the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
