Keshar is a small village of 937 hectares in Kumbhalgarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keshar depends on UDAIPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Keshar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Keshar's pin code is 313325[4], and village code is 03011700. The area of Keshar is segregated as 60.18 hectares irrigated area, 72.49 hectares unirrigated, the 254.61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 436.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Keshar is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1915 and has total administration over 450 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPUR and Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
