Kasba is a small village of 5.18 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kasba depends on Siddhaur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kasba's pin code is 225120[4], and village code is 05843000. The area of Kasba is segregated as 152.17 hectares irrigated area, 9.32 hectares unirrigated area. the 25.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 30.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kasba has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics

Kasba is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1303 and has total administration over 257 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Siddhaur (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
