Karpiya is a small village of 170.8 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karpiya depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karpiya's pin code is 212306[4], and village code is 05662000. The area of Karpiya is segregated as 125 hectares irrigated area, 15 hectares unirrigated area. the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.
