Karl du Fresne is a New Zealand journalist and editor. Born in the town of Pahiatua,[1] he started as a columnist with The Dominion Post (Wellington)|The Dominion in 1969, eventually becoming editor.[2] He has written for a number of New Zealand newspapers and other publications, including The New Zealand Listener, and the Spectator Australia[3].[4]
A former musician, is the author of A Road Tour of American Song Titles: From Mendocino to Memphis.[5]
