Karchha is a small village of 36 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karchha depends on Sarai Mir (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Karchha's pin code is 276305[4], and village code is 08742600. The area of Karchha is segregated as 24 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
