Karahla is a small village of 274.7 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karahla depends on Pilkhana (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 168.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karahla's pin code is 202121[4], and village code is 01382000. The area of Karahla is segregated as 262.7 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated area. the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5 hectare area not available for cultivation.
