Kakri is a small village of 113.1 hectares in Belthara Road Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kakri depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kakri's pin code is 221711[4], and village code is 09134400. The area of Kakri is segregated as 85.16 hectares irrigated area, 13.33 hectares unirrigated area. the 5.23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 9.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kakri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kakri is a census village in the district of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1588 and has total administration over 225 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rasra (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
