Jorma is a small village of 243 hectares in Gogunda Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jorma depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jorma is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jorma's pin code is 313704[4], and village code is 03070100. The area of Jorma is segregated as 41 hectares irrigated area, 23 hectares unirrigated, the 166 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Udaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
