Jijathal is a small village of 447 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jijathal depends on Chharra Rafatpu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jijathal's pin code is 202130[4], and village code is 01348800. The area of Jijathal is segregated as 342.2 hectares irrigated area, 19.94 hectares unirrigated area. the 40.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
