Jargawan is a small village of 19.81 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jargawan depends on Siddhaur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jargawan's pin code is 225416[4], and village code is 05844300. The area of Jargawan is segregated as 344.86 hectares irrigated area, 19.4 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 0.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Siddhaur (NP) and Barabanki to sell cloth and make their living.
