Jamua is a small village of 105.7 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jamua depends on Mau Aima (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jamua's pin code is 212104[4], and village code is 05432000. The area of Jamua is segregated as 19.31 hectares irrigated area, 15.342 hectares unirrigated area. the 855 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.342 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jamua has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Jamua is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1623 and has total administration over 255 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mau Aima (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
