Jamgharwa is a small village of 145.7 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jamgharwa depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jamgharwa's pin code is 277209[4], and village code is 09295700. The area of Jamgharwa is segregated as 111.4 hectares irrigated area, 14.16 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Reoti (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
