History
The media platform operated as “The Website on Jamaica” since December 1995 until they secured the domain name Jamaicans.com in October 1996 and changed the name to Jamaicans.com.[22][23][24][25] The idea behind creating such a website was a pioneering effort to make the Jamaican diaspora[26] connect easily and on a larger scale.[27]
