Jahanpur is a small village of 31 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jahanpur depends on Haidergarh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Jahanpur's pin code is 225126[4], and village code is 05846500. The area of Jahanpur is segregated as 22 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area.
