Jafarpur is a small village of 55 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jafarpur depends on Fatehpur (NP) , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Jafarpur's pin code is 225301[4], and village code is 05710200. The area of Jafarpur is segregated as 132 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
