Itai is a small village of 289.2 hectares in Tulsipur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Itai depends on Tulsipur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Itai's pin code is 271604[4], and village code is 06669400. The area of Itai is segregated as 116.2 hectares irrigated area, 140.61 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Itai is a census village in the district of Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1896 and has total administration over 285 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tulsipur (NP) and Balrampur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
